Whether a beginner or an experienced rider, the thrill of mounting up and heading off into the glorious Argyll countryside, on the shores Loch Fyne, will stay with you forever. The loch and forest trails that surround the riding centre give you an opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland on horseback. 1hr Scenic Trek (from 8 years)
Our 1 hr trek hacks out along the shores of Loch Fyne with our qualified instructors. The Loch is in view for most of the ride which is along an established woodland track and as such the ride is suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike. The views are stunning and often there is seals, oyster catchers, herons, wood pigeons sheep and lambs to be seen on this trek.

2hr Scenic Trek (from 8 years)
Our 2 hr trek hacks over the top of Kenmore Hill under the watchful eyes of our instructors. When you reach the top of the mountain the view back down the loch towards Inveraray is simply stunning (a Kodak moment). The ride starts along the shores of Loch Fyne and then up and over Kenmores woodland mountain. Again there is lots of wildlife and views only appreciated from the back of a gentle horse. Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.

2hr Fast Ride (from 12 years)
Our 2 hr fast ride is for accomplished riders who are comfortable at the gallop over uneven ground. These rides leave in the early evening and hack through local woodlands with a qualified instructor.

Lessons (from 6 years)
Lessons are arranged to suit and subject to availability. Our friendly instructors are all BHS qualified and have many years experience with riders of all abilities. We also have the only covered riding school in Argyll.

Lead Rein Walkies (from 4 years)
Led on a pony by one of our instructors for 20mins approx. A gentle and safe introduction to horse riding for younger riders. Also suitable for older less adventurous riders who prefer to take it easy with the comfort of an instructor by their side, one on one.

Notes:
Must be 8 years of age to ride on a trek. (Lead rein walkies from 4 years of age.)

Riders weight limit is 14st, 196lbs or 88Kg.

Due to the limited number of horses on each ride, booking is required. Call 01499 302611, we will require the riders name, weight, height, riding experience if any and a credit or debit card number to reserve the booking. You can pay by any means when you arrive, the credit or debit card will only be used if you do not show for your booked horse ride.

Treks leave exactly on the times shown above. Please arrive at least 15mins before your horse ride time.

We will supply you at no extra charge with a British standards riding helmet. You must wear this helmet during the horse ride. If you have your own riding helmet it must comply with EN1384 or PAS014.

No baggy clothing, high heels, short trouser or skirts and please dress appropriately for the days weather conditions. Wear a sensible shoe or boot with a small heel. Trainers are acceptable as we have safety toe stoppers fitted to all our stirrups.

All our activities are suitable for individuals, couples, families and groups. We have age and weight restrictions on some activities please see the price list below. The adventure park is open daily from 10am Easter till end of October. Clay pigeon and the paintball shooting range can be booked for groups at any time of the year. Our new paintball range allows you to have a go with a paintball marker without playing a game. Our purpose built shooting gallery has various targets for you to brush up on your shooting skills. Even if you’re too young to play paintball yet, if you’re 8yrs old+, then you can have a go. No reservation is required for this activity. Group bookings also taken between end of Oct and Easter

Bungee Trampolines (from 4yrs)
The most exciting outdoor activity in the UK. No matter how high you jump, you always land upright, in the centre of the trampoline. No reservation is required for this activity.

Climbing Walls (from 7 yrs)
Vertical wall climbing is considered to be one of the UK's fastest growing sports. This modern 7m wall hosts four different climbs each more difficult. All climbers are harnessed and attached to the auto-belay system for ultimate security. No reservation is required for this activity.

Laser Storm (from 7yrs)
Whether you're 7 or 77, the experience is exhilarating and immersive... with fun lurking around every corner. Laser Storm combines the classic games of tig and hide and seek with a modern high tech twist. The game is played in large darkened inflatable arena with talking laser rifles. Noisy fun for the whole family. No reservation is required for this activity.

Laser Clay Pigeons (from 12yrs)
Laser clay pigeon shooting is a sport that is enjoyed by everyone because there is no recoil from the shotguns. The players use a modified shotgun to fire an infrared beam at clays launched from a conventional clay launcher. You need to hold the weight of a 12 bore shotgun for this activity. No reservation is required for this activity. Group bookings also taken between end of Oct and Easter.

The long-term student programme is run in a relaxed, friendly, family atmosphere, with strong emphasis on natural horsemanship, natural riding, teamwork, leadership and organisational skills. The students are exposed to every aspect of running a livestock business and previous experience is not required. Students are required to be self motivated and presentable. Many students to-date have gained professional BHS qualifications whilst volunteering. This is not a hotel or a leisure riding holiday. This is real work experience on a BHS approved STB four star riding centre

It is also the perfect opportunity for horse lovers aged sixteen and over to gain practical experience over 3 months to a year. Places are limited and the program can include room & board, the opportunity to improve your riding skills and "hands on" experience with quality horses and top professionals. A family run BHS approved riding centre on the Duke of Argyll’s Estate. All our instructors are BHS qualified. So whatever your level from riding club to affiliated competition we can cater for all your equestrian needs including clipping, training and exercising. Paintball is available all year. Party sizes from 4 to 20 welcome. Individuals and smaller party sizes can join in with a larger party. Paintballing must be booked in advance. We have a fantastic paintball site with our own Castle Inveraray at the centre of our woodland scenario. During your visit you will play up to ten game scenarios throughout our extensive woodland setting in the different combat zones. We will provide you with safety equipment including body armour and head guards at no extra cost. Our friendly marshals will assist you starting with a full safety briefing and game tuition.

Paintball Game Rules
1. Paintball under 16 consent form, with a guardian signature if under 16 years old, before play.
2. All players are required to wear long-sleeve shirts and full-length trousers. Arms and legs must be fully covered during play.
3. During a game, goggles and head shields are to be worn at all times by all persons on the playing field and never removed unless instructed to do so by a Marshal.
4. No physical interaction whatsoever is allowed between players.
5. Players are not allowed to move barricades, hides or obstacles.
6. Marshals are under no circumstances to be shot at or hit.
7. Barrel socks and safety must be on between games when instructed by the marshals.
8. It is forbidden to shoot from a distance under 5 meters as this may lead to injuries. If the distance between two rival players is less than 5 meters, either both players increase the distance, or the marshal stops the game.
9. Do not throw smoke bombs or paint grenades directly at another player.
10. Do not pick up or re-throw any pyrotechnics.
11. If a player holds their gun with both hands stretched out over their head, no-one is to shoot at the player. Call out loudly, “DEAD MAN WALKING. Let them out!
12. Hands, heads, guns and hoppers don’t count as hits. Paint spots on the body must be a solid spot not just speckles or spray before a player is called out. Consecutive shots only count as one.
13. An eliminated player cannot shoot while walking out of the field, nor are they to be shot at.
14. All players must remain within boundaries to remain in play. If a player goes out of bounds, they are eliminated from the game.
15. Players, who cheat, wipe paint or shoot players holding their gun up after they are out will be out of the game immediately. If a second offense occurs players will be instructed to leave the field for the day.
16. Each team will nominate a General.
17. All decisions made by the Marshal are final.
18. No profanity is allowed (on the field or in the centre).
19. It is strictly forbidden to bring or consume alcohol or drugs at the centre.
20. Do not use used paintball found in thezones. They will cause your gun to jam.
21. Paintballs purchased cannot be reimbursed, fire them off on the last game.
22. All paintballs used must be purchased from Argyll Adventure. No carry-on paintballs or markers allowed. Players can purchase paintballs from the referees during the game or from reception between games.
23. If goggles or a paint gun malfunctions, dead man walk out of game and ask a marshal to attend to the problem.

PLAYERS ARE SUBJECT TO EJECTION FROM THE CENTRE FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS
1. Continual failure to follow any of the guidelines may result in ejection from our facilities.
2. Removing or lifting goggles/ face mask after first warning.
3. Any fighting with other players or marshals.
4. Failure to play in a safe manner.
5. Blind shooting (shooting without looking) after first warning.
6. Any player that his/her actions would make it not pleasurable or unsafe for others to return to play and have fun.
